2321651 - Error When Adding a Custom Pricing Table to the Pricing Group Assignment: "Header condition table 7PL1 and header condition type SAPPL001 is being repeated"

Symptom

The following errors occur when adding a custom pricing table to the pricing group assignment:
Header condition table 7PL1 and header condition type SAPPL001 is being repeated.
Save failed.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the Overview view.
  3. Search for Configure Price Strategy.
  4. Select the activity Configure Price Strategy and click on Open.
  5. Select the Pricing Tables hyperlink.
  6. You create Pricing Table CUSXYZ (Item Level) and added the respective fields to the pricing table (CUSXYZ represents the pricing table).

You then created an access sequence:

  1. Select the Access Sequence hyperlink.
  2. Select the access sequence Discounts on Item Level.
  3. The Pricing Table CUSXYZ was assigned to e.g. Discounts on Item Level.

You now want to defined a pricing group assignment:

  1. Select the Pricing Group Assignments hyperlink.
  2. Select the pricing group Discounts.
  3. Click on Add Row.
  4. In the Pricing Group Item Assignments section you enter a description and add the header pricing table Base price list and the item pricing table CUSXYZ.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. The following error occurs:
Header condition table 7PL1 and header condition type SAPPL001 is being repeated.
    Save Failed

Cause

It is not possible to have another combination with Base price list in the header pricing table. The same condition table cannot be added twice in the access sequence. Since the Base price list is already delivered by SAP this combination cannot be reused.

Resolution

You have to create another price table (e.g. with an extension field assigned) and use this pricing table in combination with the other pricing table you created.
