2316114 - How to Implement Cross Domain Solution - SCORM Contents hosted in a different server location - [LMS]

If you would like to host the SCORM based contents in your own servers, please go through this KBA to undertand the things that you are required to do. The reason why this is required because a content needs a platform to be able to communicate with the LMS and in case of iContent(SAP's content storing solution) this platform is built-in and in case of your own server this platform has to be deployed.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)
  • LMS with your non-SF (iContent) content server

  1. The server has to be a Web server(Microsoft IIS or Apache, Check out the URL for more details on this).
  2. Cross Domain issues are outside of Customer Support scope.  To obtain the latest Proxlet WAR for CDS see the link available to our Community in the LMS Help Guide here:
If Customer requests help for installing or modifying the Proxlet or if they want to set up a reverse proxy this has to go through Professional Services.

   - Cross-domain_Proxlet_Installation.pdf - this is an old file but the page 3 contains a screenshot that shows how to modify the configuration of the content in a cross domain environment in a better way.
   - Q1 2015 Cross Domain Solution.pdf - this one has the complete guide on how to implement the Cross Domain Solution and what are the settings that needs to be enabled/updated.
