  • What is the SAP CQC EarlyWatch for SuccessFactors ?

    The SAP CQC EarlyWatch for SuccessFactors is designed to provide a detailed analysis of your SuccessFactors instance and your connected technical interfaces.
    During this service, the SuccessFactors solution is reviewed for potential risks and recommendations are given in alignment with best practices, ensuring optimal performance and system availability for the core modules.

    • Key Features and Benefits:
      The SAP EarlyWatch for SuccessFactors performs a complete review of your solution and provides an analysis of the key performance indicators.

      The benefits of this service are:
      - Analyses system configuration, any open issues and reviews performance of your production system.
      - Functional configuration review of the core SuccessFactors BizX components, including: Employee Central, EC-Payroll, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, SAP Jam & Onboarding.
      - Technical design review and verification of your SuccessFactors Interfaces to ensure stability, Performance and throughput - Dell Boomi, HANA Cloud Integration, SAP NetWeaver PI.

    • When to Use:
      Delivery of the SAP CQC EarlyWatch for SuccessFactors is most applicable anytime after the Go Live of a new SuccessFactors Implementation or additional components to your existing SuccessFactors BizX suite.
      Depending on your component implementation, you will receive a variation of our service tailored to your needs. The service can be used to analyse specific issues or as health check to verify system performance and configuration.

    • When not to Use:
      - If you are not live with a production system.
      - If you have specific issues with functional gaps.
      - The system has only just gone live in the last few days.

      - Minimize potential risks during going-live phase and reviews performance after Go Live.
      - Functional configuration review of the core SuccessFactors BizX components, including: Employee Central, EC-Payroll, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, SAP Jam & Onboarding.
      - Technical design review and verification of your SuccessFactors Interfaces to ensure stability, Performance and throughput - Dell Boomi, HANA Cloud Integration, SAP NetWeaver PI.

    • When to Use:
      Delivery of the SAP CQC GoingLive Check (Analysis) for SuccessFactors is most applicable ~4 weeks before Go Live of a new SuccessFactors Implementation or additional components to your existing SuccessFactors BizX suite.
      Depending on your component implementation, you will receive a variation of our service tailored to your needs. Delivery of the SAP CQC for Implementation Check (Verification) is usually done 1-2 months after Go Live.

    • When not to Use:
      - If you are already live with a production system.
      - If you have specific issues with functional gaps.
      - If you have technical issues with specific business processes.

  • What is the SAP CQC GoingLive Support for SuccessFactors ?

    The going live support service within continuous quality checks is a standardized method to support companies during their critical go-live steps.
    An SAP service engineer monitors the go-live remotely to help minimize the risk of the go-live.
    The continuous quality check going live support service provides system monitoring for immediate reaction in case of unforeseen incidents during your go-live.

    In addition, the service can be used to monitor the execution of critical processes, such as period-end closing, after go-live.

    • Key Features and Benefits:
      A smooth go-live includes technical stability and good performance when you start live operations.
      With the continuous quality check going live support service, we establish close contact between your project team and SAP Active Global Support to ensure a smooth start of production.
      The following are advantages to your company from the continuous quality check going live support service:
      - Minimize potential risks of critical go-lives.
      - Monitor system during go-live phase.
      - React quickly to issues, due to fast access to SAP expert knowledge.
      - Increase technical stability, performance, throughput, and maintainability of your solution.

    • When to Use:
      If one or more of the issues below apply to you, then the continuous quality check going live support service as part of the continuous quality checks will assist you:
      - If your go live is at risk in terms of technical stability, performance, and/or throughput of core business processes.
      - If your staff needs support during the going live phase (for example, new installation, successive go lives, and projects involving period-end closing).
      - If a critical process such as period-end closing is exhibiting performance problems that need to be analyzed and optimized.

    • When NOT to Use:
      The continuous quality check going live support service should not be used if no significant change is taking place (for example, new business processes or new hardware).
      The only change is a quarterly release upgrade.
      If the SuccessFactors system is standalone, i.e. there is no connected SAP on premise system or no integration layer (i.e. no Dell Boomi, Hana Cloud Integration or SAP PI).

  • How can I, as a customer or partner, request these services ?

There are 3 options to book these services :

      1. For service booking the main route is for your TQM’s, ESA’s or CSM’s to directly book services themselves in the internal ICP system.
      2. If you don't have a CSM or CEE, as a customer or partner you can also book a service by opening an incident on our BCP system in component SV-BO-REQ.
      3. Alternatively, you can also book a service by contacting the SAC in BCP on this component SV-ES-SAC, and the SAC can also assist with the service booking process.
