In Business ByDesign, we have two dates to display on purchase order forms. One is purchase order Creation Date and other one is Ordered Date.
The reason is that, from a business point of view, the relevant creation date of the purchase order is when it is sent out to the supplier .
To see the Created On date in the purchase order forms, you need to map it to attribute BuyerCreationDateTime via Adobe LiveCycle Designer. However in the the output history, system will consider the Ordered Date only.
Once the purchase order is posted, you can review the output in the Output History tab. There you can open the pdf file and you will see that the Created On field is filled.
For example: You create a purchase order on 13th June 2018 and Save it as In Preparation status & this will be the Creation Date. Then if you Order it on 15th June 2018, system will considered this date as Ordered Date on the forms. However for the supplier, the ordered date is more important than the actual creation date.
If you still think you need this date on form then contact your partners to add an extension field that will have exact creation date appearing in the PO and map it on to the out put form .
