2271332 - "Change User Email Notification" not disabling Emails

Symptom

Disabling "Change User Email Notification" does not stop email notifications being sent (e.g. for compensation, Performance etc.)

Go to:

  1. Admin Center
  2. Update User Information
  3. Change User Email Notifications

Reproducing the Issue

After disabling "Change User Email Notification" feature, users are still receiving notifications.

E.g. when a document gets routed to a user, they recieve a Routing Notification Email even though email notifications have been disabled.

Cause

Expected behaviour.

Resolution

To determine if individual users will not receive some email notifications you have to:

  1. Go to Admin Centre
  2. Tool Search
  3. Company System and Logo settings 
  4. Scroll down to the below highlighted option

 This is a global setting and will override any email setting in "Change User Email Notification".
