- Need to Delete Documents
- I want to clear the very old documents from document center
Document once deleted can not be retrieved. Please use this functionality with atmost care.
To utilize this functionality, it should be activated first.
Activate the Feature option for the HR Admin Role:
Step 1 : Go to Settings -> Features -> Document Purge (Activate this feature)
Step 2: Activate the feature
Step 3: Go to Security -> HR admin group (Permission is given to HR Admin Role)
Step 4: Edit the group and go to Other Properties. Then choose Document Purge check box
Step 5: Once you have given permission, you will see Document Purge tab under Settings.
Step 6: Create the rule and save it
Add a name for the rule, and select Active in the Rule Status field.
Select Add New Condition. You must enter at least two conditions, one specifying the form name, and another related to a date. All conditions must be satisfied in order to delete a document. The "AND" operator is used between conditions. If "OR" conditions are needed, configure multiple rules for the same Form Name.
Step 7: We have set up 2 jobs to take care of this purging.
- PurgeSelectionJob will identify the matching forms and create a package
- and then PurgeJob will run to delete these forms
This job runs daily. If you want to change the schedule, Operation Jira has to be created.
