2257593 - User unable to launch the quiz-Learning Management System

Symptom

  • When admins create the quiz and assign it to the user they are not able to launch the same
  • The quiz at the item level shows that the quiz is not available (refer to screenshot):

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a quiz in the LMS as an admin
  2. Create an item and add quiz
  3. Assign the item to the user
  4. If this issue occurs, the user will not able to launch the quiz

Cause

The quiz is created but it is not published in any locale or the locale which a specific user has

Resolution

  1. In Locale section on the quiz which is highlighted, you can see that it is not published which means that the quiz is not published in any locale
  2. To resolve, click the edit (pencil) icon which will take you to the new page shown next

  3. Change the radio button in the “Published section” from No to Yes
  4. Click save down below
  5. Note: As you hit save it will give a warning, it just means that while the question is published you cannot edit the question you need to unpublished and edit if you need to
