When trying to hire a candidate using Manage Pending Hires, the error message "ErrorId=..." appears:
Reproducing the Issue
1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Pending Hires
2. Select a candidate to hire and go through all Employee Central tabs filling all mandatory fields
3. Click "Save" by the end of the process
RESULT: The error message appears
This error message is caused by a misconfiguration in Recruiting Management
There are two potential reasons and resolutions for this issue:
1. There is more than one application status with the Hireable option "Hireable" or "Hired"
In order to fix this misconfiguration:
a) Navigate to Admin Center > Edit Applicant Status Configuration
b) Select All application statuses (If you have more than one status set, you will have to repeat that for all status sets): (NOTE: Make sure you also check Inactive statuses)
c) Verify the Hireable Options and make sure that there is only one status with the Hireable option "Hireable" and one "Hired". These settings have to be unique across all statuses in the instance (this applies also for the inactive statuses):
2. The sm-mapping is configured incorrectly
