In which scenario is possible to switch back to DPCS 1.0 from DPCS 2.0, and how to do that?
SuccessFactors - RCM - Data Privacy Consent Statement settings (DPCS)
Although not recommended, it is technically possible to Switch back to DPCS 1.0 (Disable DPCS 2.0). However, this is only possible if there are no applications in a withdraw status.
As this happens quite commonly, this switch is not a practical solution for a customer instance.
A customer instance is not supposed to be the environment where the customer tests DPCS 2.0 and after decides to switch back to DPCS 1.0
A scenario where it may make sense to switch back to DPCS 1.0 is a Sales Demo instance when you just try to switch to DPCS 2.0 and then immediately revert to DPCS 1.0 without to involve any candidate.
The point is that if in the meantime a candidate withdraws an application or deletes his account with application in progress, this action cannot be done anymore.
In case for any unforeseen reason you do require to have the DPCS 2.0 disable in your instance, you may follow the following approach:
- Leverage the Integration Center feature to move all candidates from a Withdraw status to an In Progress status. Check KBA 2650404 for full instructions on how to mass move candidates;
- If assistance is required to perform steps above, please reach out to PS or Partner Team. SAP Cloud Product Support team is not the correct resource to guide and help setting up the integration center;
- Once all candidates have been moved from a Withdraw status to an In Progress status, you may reach out to PS, Partner Team or Support and request to disable DPCS 2.0.
