2249563 - Error: No space left on device


Error: No space left on device received while trying to import/export a file from the instance such as while trying to do a picklist export.

Reproducing the Issue

While trying to do an export of the file (say picklist) the system throws the  below error:


Status: FAILURE. 

Your picklist export job failed with exception: No space left on device


The error is caused because of a lack of disk space in data center.


Try again after sometime, as the disk space is cleaned up regularly.

If the issue persists, please create an incident with SF support providing the error message received and the operation that you were trying to carry out.
