2242453 - Multiselect attribute with picklists Field - Issues with Permissions

Symptom

Job Requisition - Picklist field

A field has WRITE permission in the configuration, but it appears to be not editable when you test it

Environment

Successfactors - RCM - Job Requisition Template

Reproducing the Issue

 

Under this kind of configuration in the Job Req Template:

- FieldA with PicklistA (parent)  – No “multiselect” attribute is defined
- FieldB with PicklistB (child)  – the attribute multiselect=”true” is defined
- WRITE permission are granted for some roles

Issue:
If you test the permission creating a Job Req you will see that:
WRITE permission will NOT work for FieldB

Cause

Incosistency of the attribute “multiselect”: not defined in the Patent picklist field but defined on the child

Resolution

Update the field definition keeping the attribute “multiselect” consistent on both picklist field (Parent and Child)
