A user has been terminated with event reason of Deceased, however they still appear as active in the system. The user will appear in active user searches in the UI.
The cause of the behavior is due to the picklist for employee-status. As shown below, the picklist for employee-status for Deceased is not tied to an external code.
To resolve this issue, update the picklist for employee-status in regards to 'Deceased' to have an external code of "T" for terminated. This will tie the Deceased event reason to the Termination status of inactive for the user.
