2234472 - Account Search With Filter as Country or City Shows Inconsistent Results

Symptom

You search in Accounts with filter as Country or City, and you get inconsistent results.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Accounts view.
  3. Select All Accounts.
  4. Select Show Filter.
  5. Select a country (e.g. China).
  6. Result shows also accounts with other countries (e.g. France, Germany etc.).

The same can be applied to the search by City.

Cause

The search of Accounts with filter Country or City considers all the addresses maintained for an account.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Accounts view. 
  3. Go to the Adapt -> Edit Master Layout.
  4. Select Show Advance Filter for the query All Accounts.
  5. In the Advanced Filter -> Go to the Address section and select Add Fields.
  6. Select the checkbox for the field Main Address and choose the Apply button. 
  7. It will bring the Main Address Indicator as checkbox in the Advanced search.
  8. Select End Layout Changes.
  9. Select the query All Accounts.
  10. Go to the Advanced Filter.
  11. Input the Country (e.g. China).
  12. Tick the checkbox Main Address and then choose the Go button.
