2233276 - How to disable Notifications for Scheduled Offerings


This KBA covers how to disable Scheduled Offering notifications at either the Global level or per Scheduled Offering in the LMS


SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)


To Disable notifications per Scheduled Offering, there are two locations where this needs to be disabled:

  1. Notifications sent when LMS Admins register/withdraw users from the offering from admin side
    To disable:
    1. Logon to LMS Admin
    2. Navigate to Scheduled offering > Registration Tab > Settings button > Check/Uncheck "Send Notifications to" Student, Supervisor, Instructor and/or Contacts as per the requirement

  2. Notifications sent when users register/withdraws from the offering from user side
    To disable:
    1. Logon to LMS Admin
    2. Navigate to Scheduled offering -> In View All section
    3. There are 4 different columns related to "Email Confirmation to": User/Supervisor/Instructor/Contacts
    4. Set Yes/No as per the requirement



To disable at the Global Level:

  1. Logon to LMS Admin
  2. Navigate to System Admin -> Configuration -> Registration Settings-> Confirmation Notification Defaults
  3. Uncheck for all Student, Supervisor, Instructor, & Contacts as required
  4. Newly created Scheduled Offerings will have these same configurations at Offering level (in both the locations of offering shown above)
  5. Previously created Scheduled Offerings will not have these changes propagated to them
