Users who are trying to login via SSO are being redirected to the login page and no errors are getting registered in SSO Logs Viewer, in SuccessFactors side.
When the issue is related to the log in via SSO, there are many reasons that could cause the invalid login, such as user’s configuration or discrepancies in the SSO configuration between customer and SuccessFactors’ side.
To analyze the user’s configuration, please check the details listed in the Knowledge Base article for Login Troubleshooting by clicking here.
To analyze the SSO configurations, please contact CS Support in order to check the SSO Logs Viewer. However, if no errors are getting registered in the logs related to these invalid logins, means that the login request is not reaching the SF server.
When the login is not reaching the SF server, there may be an incorrect configuration in customer’s side. In order to find the cause of it, please make sure that the URLs are correctly according to the uppercase and lowercase letters.
URLs are case sensitive like usernames and passwords are. This means that all configuration could be correct, but if one letter is different than it should be, the attempts will not reach SuccessFactors server and the users will be redirected to the SF login page. As an example of these URLs is the Consumer URL, used to configure SSO SAML 2.0. The default URL is like follows:
However, if the URL is configured, for example, with “Company” instead of “company”, the login will not work and the users will face the symptom described above.
To fix this kind of issues and avoid this in the future, please double check the URLs configured in SSO.
