2176660 - Status-Triggered E-Mail Notifications Are Not Received in DPCS Statuses - Recruiting Management

Symptom

In this article we are going to confirm the expected behavior of status-triggered e-mail notifications for DPCS statuses.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)

Reproducing the Issue

1. You set up an e-mail template in Admin Tools > Edit Applicant Status Configuration for the system status "Deleted On Demand By Candidate", "Deleted On Demand By Admin" or "Declined DPCS"

2. A Candidate profile of an existing applicant is deleted by the candidate or admin OR the candidate declines DPCS. See the below example:

3. The applicant is automatically moved to the Deleted On Demand By Candidate status:

4. No notification notification is sent out to the candidate.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior since e-mails are only sent to existent candidates. In the Correspondence portlet we can see that there's no notification related to DPCS.
