You want to edit/delete notes in the account master data which were created by another user but it is not possible.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Account Management work center.
- Go to the Accounts view.
- Select account XYZ (XYZ is the identification of the account).
- Click the Edit - Notes button
You can see notes created by other users but you are unable to edit/delete these.
It is not possible to edit/delete notes which were created by another user - even if you have all access right. These can only be maintained by the corresponding user.
You can delete external sales note in the sales document e.g. sales order or customer invoice (general tab in the field customer information) and if you are the administrator you always have the possibility to reset the corresponding users password, log on to the system with the respective user and new password and then perform the respective changes.
