2169778 - Schedule Offering Register Now button is missing for some users

Symptom

When trying to register for a Schedule Offering in the catalog, some users do not see the Register Now button.

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to LMS
  2. Search the catalog for the item associated with SO.
  3. Select View Course Dates
  4. You should see Register Now button on the right of the date/time
    or
  5. Select segment you want to register in
  6. Top right should be a Register Now button
    or
  1. Search the catalog for the item assocaited with SO.
  2. Select the item title
  3. Select Register Now
  4. Under Available Offerings you should see Register Now

Cause

  1. You need a shopping account to purchase Schedule Offering.
  2. Workflows are missing in the assigned role.

Resolution

  1. login to admin side
  2. Users > Users > search user id
  3. Related - More > Commerce
  4. Make sure to check Enable Shopping Account

If this is already checked, make sure the item can be registered by the user

  1. Login to admin side
  2. Open Item
  3. View All (additional settings)
  4. Self Registration = Yes

Still, you can compare the role assigned to each user. Check if the workflows are part of the assigned role: "Access Calendar of Scheduled Offerings" and "Add to Learning Assignments"
