2163410 - No option to Reset Password for Admin

Symptom

An Admin does not have the option to reset a user's or Admin password through Systems Admin > Application Admin > Admin Management > select Admin ID > Summary tab

See screenshot below which shows no option to reset password:

Environment

  • SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Resolution

To be able to change the Admin passwords in Learning, naviagte to the System Admin > Configuration > Global Variables > Password Settings. Ensure the following are selected:

  • Allow user passwords to be changed
  • Allow admin passwords to be changed

  • Check mark the as above and then Apply Changes. This should give you the option to reset the Admin password.
