2162821 - Unable to find user name while performing "add recipient" operation in report distributor bundle

Symptom

  • User name is available in SF instance.
  • Unable to find user name while performing "add recipient" operation in report distributor bundle. 

Environment

  • SuccessFactors Online Report Designer
  • Report Distributor

Reproducing the Issue

  1. User name is available in SF instance.
  2. Home > Analytics > Analytics > Report Distributor > Open any bundle > Add Recipient > Search for the user name.
  3. User name is not listed in add recipient list.

Cause

User name is not listed under user maintenance in analytics.

Resolution

  1. User has to be assigned Analytics permission.
  2. User has to access Analytics atleast once(e.g. by viewing a report in ORD).
  3. User name has to be present under User Maintenance in Analytics.  
  4. Once the user name is available under User Maintenance then user name can be found while performing add recipient operation in report distributor bundle.
