When procesing the manual clearing for large transactions for Receivables you receive either a time-out-dump or a warning message which turns the clearing impossible.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Receivables work center.
- Select the Customer XYZ.
- Go to the tab Trade Payables.
- Select a set of open items and Clear Manually.
Here you either receive a time-out-dump or a warning message:
The data cannot be displayed completely. Sorting and Filtering are not reliable since the number of hits is too large. Reduce the number of search hits by restricting the search criteria.
An excessively large number of transactions for receivables to clear manually at a time has been selected. Since items to be cleared vary in complexity depending on interdependent transactions there is no absolute figure to be put on exactly when a single clearing-set becomes critical in volume.
The workaround here is to reduce the transaction volume in one single clearing-set. Pull out some items and then proceed with the clearing. After a successfully clearing the remaining items need to be included in another clearing-set.
