2101268 - Authentication Error: Unable to authenticate your user account. Please check you Jam account credentials.

When navigating to Jam Groups tab in the item record, the administrator receives the following error:

Authentication Error: Unable to authenticate your user account. Please check you Jam account credentials.

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Login to BizX > Learning Administration >
2. Open an Item > Jam Groups tab >
3. Error message appears "Unable to Authenticate your user account. Please check you Jam account credentials.".

1. The user ID has to be the same for BizX, Learning and JAM (Work Zone).
2. The Learning-Work Zone feature toggle is not enabled in the environment.

For the first cause, please review the following:

The Work Zone/Learning integration was failing because the Learning admin ID didn’t match the BizX ID. If BizX user ID is 'abc' then the Learning admin ID should also be 'abc' for the integration to work correctly. 

To fix the issue:

1. Manually add the userID (not username/login!). To do that, export the BizX excel with user information that contains both userID and user name and find the userID for which the error appears >
2. Go to Learning admin and create new Learning admin with this userID >
3. Now associate the Learning user with this newly created Learning admin ID to navigate from BizX to Learning.

Important note: To view the JAM Groups tab, the administrator must be accessing Learning via BizX (in integrated mode).

Support Team: to confirm if the feature toggle is enabled for the environment, please check internal memo. If necessary, please engage the Operations team.
