2099829 - Visibility of Pay Components when using Take Action - Employee Central

Symptom

  • This article explains why a Pay Component may not show up as expected when using MSS Take Action.
     
  • I am not seeing one of my Pay Components in Manager Self Service Take Action but I do see it in when adding a new employee or changing data via history. Why is this?

Resolution

  • In Admin Tools / Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures you can set up your Pay Component Foundation Data. In here  there is a field called, "Display on Self Service". If this is set to "No", then you will not see this Pay Component available in Manager Self Service (the Take Action option), but will be able to see it when amending data in Add New Employee (New Hire)/ History (as these are Admin type options).
     
  • Please make sure that you set this value to Yes if you want the corresponding pay component to be visible when amending data in Manager Self Service Take Action.
