Supervisor (or Manager) is getting Learning Plan notifications and you do not want them to receive the emails.

A configuration issue.
Please make sure the following is configured:
1. Go to System Admin -> Configuration -> User Settings -> Learning Plan Settings. If you do not want the Supervisor or the Manager to receive Learning Plan Notifications make sure the highlighted boxes below are not checked (You have to propagate the change after saving it; otherwise the change will not be applied).
2. If you have set up as advised on Step 1 above and the Supervisor (or Manager) still receives the notification emails go to the user who receives the notification emails. To do this:
i. Go to Users -> find the user -> Launch Proxy
ii. and then go to Options and Settings as shown below. Under Learning Notifications uncheck as per your requirements. Please note that this user setting overrides the global setting from Step 1.
The above should resolve the issue for you.
