- Access to the “notes” of inactive employees would be helpful/required in many situations.
For example: Let’s say, we have a manager looking to see notes that they placed for an employee that is no longer active.
- Can we see the notes set for an inactive employee?
- If the employee returns to active - will the notes restore as well?

If a manager has the permission to Include Inactive Users in search in Employee Profile, then the manager will still be able to see the Notes for that user.
Please follow the KnowledgeBase under References to grant the permissions Include Inactive Users in search
- If the above permission is not set for the manager:
a. The manager will not be able to see the Notes for the inactive user.
b. The Notes will be visible to the manager only after the user is reactivated.
