2090219 - How do I make inactive users searchable from within my SF instance? - BizX Platform

Symptom

  1. Ensure you are logged in as a user who has admin rights and the ability to change user permissions.
  2. If you are using the old admin tools
        a. Navigate to Admin Tools (Drop down arrow next to your username on the top of the page)
  3. If you are using the New admin tools:
        a. Navigate to Admin Tools (Drop down arrow next to your username on the top of the page)
        b. Go to Administration tools…Manage Employees, select Set User Permissions…then Manage permission Roles.
  4. Under the Manage Security Section select the ‘Manage Permission Roles’ link
  5. Select the role that you would like to grant the access to search for inactive users.
  6. Click the ‘Permission…’ button to bring up the Permission Settings dialogue box
  7. In the left pane, under Administrator Permissions, select Manage User
  8. Now in the right hand pane select the checkbox next to ‘Include Inactive Employees in the search

  9. Now select ‘Done’ on the Permission Settings dialogue box
  10. Then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
