  •  How do we attach documents to our employe profile?

  • Document attachment management can be enabled via admin tools for PE.

  • To use document attachments, the “attachment manager” must be enabled in provisioning by SuccessFactors. If you do not see this feature in your instance please open a support case to have it enabled for your instance. The default storage limits (1 gb total, 5 mb per file), but this can be changed if needed.


  • Once enabled in the Define Employee Fields tool, the administrator can add a predefined doc attachment background element for general attachments.

          Or, you can add an attachment field to existing background elements.


  • With the “Change Permissions…” option in the same menu, administrators can now view and edit the field permissions for background elements.

          (Note that although this dialog shows references to matrix managers, the matrix manager assignment is still not technically part of PE.)


  • Note: to use the Define Employee Fields tool you must have both OneAdmin and PE self-service enabled in provisioning.
