Resolution

  • Welcome Email: You now have the option for Welcome emails to use a more secure way to provide initial passwords to new users. You can now insert a link to a page in SuccessFactors where new users can create their own initial password, then log in to SuccessFactors for the first time. This option can replace providing the initial password as plain-text in the email. (PLT-14381)

  • Send Password: Welcome message notification sent the employee's password in plain text using the token EMP PASSWORD.

  • Update Password on secure page: Use the token "SET PASSWORD URL" can be used in the welcome email notification so that the user can be taken to a secure place to set their own password.
