- The role EP represents All Matrix Managers. This role is useful if you have employees who report to multiple matrix managers at the same time. With this role, you can forward a form to all matrix managers in a single routing step, allowing all the matrix managers to participate in the step.
- You can only use the EP role with Collaborative Step (C-Step) route maps and Iterative Step (I-Step) route maps.
For example, if you specified a collaborative step type (C) between E & EP, the form would go from the employee (E) to all matrix managers (EP).
- If you specified an Iterative step type, (I E EP), then the employee (E) could choose which one, among all matrix managers (EP), to send the form.
