FTP Decommission for Support Contact Administrators
Beginning August 1, 2014, SuccessFactors will only support the following file transfer protocols:
NOTE: If you are already using SFTP, there are NO changes required.
See the simplified diagram below:
The RED arrow above indicates the piece of the file transfer process that will be impacted by this change. All other parts of the process will remain unchanged, including your file transfer login credentials and Host name.
Note: If you are currently using SFTP or HTTPS, no changes are needed.
Please work with your IT department or HRIS interface group to verify what method you are currently using, as they should be able to determine if and how this change will affect you and your system. If they determine that your system is still using FTP, please provide your IT team with the following document: Here
You or your IT team can test your SFTP set up at any time by modifying your current commands to the supported protocols listed in the above document and posting a file to your SuccessFactors directory. Once the file is successfully posted on the SuccessFactors server, you will have confirmed your SFTP processes are set up correctly. If you encounter problems after you’ve reviewed the above document and made the appropriate changes in your commands, please raise a case with CustomerSuccess for assistance.
Note: Customer Success cannot make these command changes for you. It is up to you and your IT team to update your custom commands as necessary.
After August 1st, any commands using non-supported file transfer protocols will fail.
