For most notifications, the FROM address is actually the document SENDER (email@example.com for example). With these notifications the recipient could actually reply to that message.
However, there are a few email notifications that come from the system email address firstname.lastname@example.org. (This address may be different if your company has changed the default value).
System messages (with the "From" address being the system) include the following email notifications:
- forgot password email
- document due
- document late
- step due
- step late
- report process complete.
All other notifications will come from the particular user who is initiating the action. If you would like to change what the "From" address is for the system messages, please contact customer support.
