2086589 - Document Routing - Form is Not Skipping Step When Alternate Role Non-Existent - Performance Management

Symptom

  • I have a form that is not routing to next step as expected when the alternate role on the Collaborative Step is non-existant. Why?

Environment

  • BizX Performance Management

Cause

  • If the form is remaining with the User on a Collaborative Step when the alternate role is non-existant (C E EM) on a user such as the CEO for example, it would be recommended to check the Route Map. If you have Exit User enforced for EM and the CEO does not have an EM the form will remain with the CEO locked in that step. Same would be true if there is a step with an EM and EMM but said user does not have a second level manager.

Resolution

  • In this case an admin would need to complete a Route Form procedure through Admin Tools >Managing Documents >Route Document. Form ID would need to be known first to complete process.
