This article describes the Company Org Chart, the configuration options available in Admin Center and points to useful resources on common issues/errors that can occur.

Additional note:

• Org Chart Layout cannot be changed as the data for the Org chart is taken directly from the User Data File.
• Please see SAP Help Guide for setting up and using the Organization Chart Here
• The current view on the Org Chart will be the hierarchy that will appear upon exporting it. There is a need to move up one level and make it appear on UI in order for the Export to capture it.
• There are three display options that the users viewing the Org Chart can choose:

FAQ & Troubleshooting Org Chart Common Issues:

1. Changes have not taken effect in Org chart
   When any change is made to the Org Chart, a job is triggered to update the Hierarchy, so please allow up to 30 minutes for this job to execute. The job can be viewed in Provisioning directly (it is called “Generate LnR” within Monitor Jobs) by SAP Support and/or SAP Partners.
   If you need the changes to take effect immediately, you can perform an Employee Export/Import to force the job execution. For more details please review 2227861 - Org Chart - Direct Report Employee is not displayed / Application error is shown when searching people on Company Org Chart
   
   
2. Error message "Cannot retrieve data"

3. Error message "No tiles available"
   This error is permission related. Please see KBA 2621868 - No tiles available error on New Homepage V3 (Fiori)
   
   
4. Error Message "invalid hierarchy data found"

5. Error Message "failed to save custom Tiles. Please try again"

6. Unable to view Matrix Managers

7. Is it possible to to hide Title in Org Chart?
   Yes, it can be hidden in Provisioning's Company Settings by SAP Support and/or SAP Partners. Please see KBA 2679545.
   
   
8. Some user(s) cannot see the Title of other employee(s)
   This is also permission-related. Please see KBA 2332194 - Employee Title not showing in Company and Succession Org Charts.
