2084519 - Budget - Configuration for stock - Compensation

Symptom

  • Budget configuration for stock.
    • This article describes what values will be imported based on your budget configuration for stock as well the xml code.  We offer two options for budgeting for Stock: based on Stock or based on Option.

Environment

  • Compensation

Resolution

  • Upon configuration  the compensation manager will need to decide whether to use the option to base the budget on Stock or on Option.
  • This gets configured in the xml  as follows:

<budget-calc useFor="stock" budgetOn="stock" mode="Guideline" basedOn="template" includeIneligible="false" prorating="false" hidePercentage="false" useFinalPayoutForVPBudget="false" applyRounding="true">100.0</budget-calc>

In the above example the budget configuration( budgetOn="stock" ) is based on stock the field STOCK_BUDGET_STOCK_AMOUNT will need to be imported in the User Directory File.

However if the client selects the option to budget by Options (budgetOn="Option") and here’s he xml:

<budget-calc useFor="stock" budgetOn="Option" mode="Guideline" basedOn="template" includeIneligible="false" prorating="false" hidePercentage="false" useFinalPayoutForVPBudget="false" applyRounding="true">100.0</budget-calc>

Then the field STOCK_BUDGET_OPTION_AMOUNT will need to be imported in the User Directory File.
