2084284 - Manage Members - Add Delete or Move Members Between Forms - Compensation


  • Compensation & Varpay Form Membership. We use the term Member to refer to a person who is on the form. This article explains how to add or remove a member from a compensation form, or move a member between plans. this will be done by the "planner". A common scenario is that the manager is the "planner" and his/her's employees are the "members" on the worksheet.

  • Employees on a variable pay or comp worksheet are typically moved for one of three reasons:
  1. When an employee changes planners, the Administrator will need to manually move the employee to the new planner's comp plan.
  2. When an employee joins the company, the Administrator will need to manually enter him/her into the appropriate planner's comp plan--if the comp forms have already been created and the employee is eligible to participate in this cycle.
  3. When an employee leaves the company, the Administrator will need to manually remove the employee from the appropriate planner's comp plan.

     Admin Tools > Compensation > Compensation Home > Select Plan > Manage Worksheets > Employee Membership (old admin Go to Admin Tools > Compensation Administration > Move, Add, Delete Members from Plans)

  • Move member(s) from one form into another

  1. Set Source Form:

  2. Set Target Form:

  3. Choose member(s) to move:

  4. Select Email Options.
    Send email notification to current reviewers of the affected compensation forms.
    Send email notification to Human Resources of the affected members.
    Send email notification to original planner/manager of the affected compensation forms.

  • For adding a member to a plan:

  1. Enter the Username (If you do not know the username, use the Find User feature).
  2. Select the Compensation Form.
  3. Select email options as required.
  4. Click Add.

  • For removing a member from a plan:

  1. Select Compensation Form.
  2. Choose member(s) to delete.
  3. Select email options as required.
  4. Click Delete.

Automatically Transfer VP Forms to Other Managers

  • You have the option to automatically manage employee changes during the VP process. You can specify the actions you want to take for each change scenario and those changes are automatically applied to all in-progress and completed (optional) VP forms.


  • Go to the Update Worksheets page to automatically move a VP entry when there has been a manager change, and to remove inactive employee or planner forms. Make your selections and click Update to save your changes.


  • Note! These updates happen one time only. You must return to this screen each time to process changes after each new employee import. Alternatively, you may automate these options if you import employee data via FTP.
