2084283 - Manage Data with EC: Publish to Employee Central with prior effective date to that of the template - Compensation

Symptom

  • Publish to Employee Central with prior effective date to that of the template.

  • After the compensation cycle you may want to publish some of your compensation data back to Employee Central.  You may have certain pay recurring components that have a prior date from that of your planning date.  This functionality is only current available for compensation.

Environment

  • Compensation

Resolution

  • As of B1408 You have the ability to have a prior date in different published components to that of the effective date of the template.  This is typically configured in the compensation template in the area:

        <comp-ect-output-component componentType="payComponentRecurring" componentCode="Base Salary (full-time)" eventReason="DATACHG" effectiveDate="2014-05-01">.

  • You can have the effectiveDate=”2014-05-01”> for Base Salary while the effective date of template could be set to <“2014-04-30”>.
