2084261 - Manage Data - Salary is showing as 0 - Compensation


  • You have entered correct Salary information in the Import File yet on the compensation form salary is appearing as 0 for some or all employees.

  1. Field type in your excel import file incorrectly set. It should be “GENERAL”. It CAN’T be “Number” or “Currency”.
  2. The value in the column COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS in the User Data File is 0.


1. Please export the USER DATA FILE(employee export) including the compensation data for the template in question.
   Check the Salary column for the employees that have 0 in the Salary Column and check “Type” of the column.
    It should be “GENERAL”. It CAN’T be “Number” or “Currency”.

   For instacne following formats for the Salary type are INCORRECT:

 2. The value in the column “COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS” in the User Data File is incorrect. Please see the following solution for more information on Compensation_sal_rate_units.
