- You have a field(Say Parking Allowance) that uses lookup table. This field is further used in calculation of another field(Say Extra Parking Allowance). Proper data is populating in the Parking Allowance field but Extra Parking allowance field is showing N/A.
Per the above configuration if “Parking Allowance”<2000 then “Extra Parking Allowance” should return 10% of Parking Allowance column but instead it is showing as N/A.
- Kindly Note the return type of Lookup tables are always string values.
- So if you have any field which is using lookup table(Parking allowance in this example) and if this field will be used in calculation of other fields then you would need to wrap the lookup table entry with toNumber.
For e.g. if the current formula is lookup('parkingAllowance',jobLevel,1).
- Then affix toNumber and the formula would become toNumber(lookup('parkingAllowance',jobLevel,1)).
