2082717 - How to check what permissions a Hiring Manager has - Onboarding


  • Activity is not getting assigned to the right person

How to check what permissions a Hiring Manager has?

In the dashboard, click the security tab.



Once under the security tab and under the groups tab, double click on the hiring manager group line.



Once the dialog box presents, you will see the hiring manager can do 3 of the 5 possible functions in Onboarding.



To see what permissions the hiring manager has per Onboarding process, highlight the line for hiring manager, under the group tab and then click the ‘assign’ icon.



The dialog box will present and it defaults to the Onboarding activity permissions.



To review what Onboarding Activity Permission has been set up for the hiring manager, click the tab to review.  Note: No activity permissions conditions have been set up.



To review the Onboarding Activity ‘Steps’ Permissions, click on the tab.  Note: the hiring manager, in this system, may see all step related to Onboarding.



To review the Onboarding WQ Monitoring Permissions, click on the tab.  Note: there are no conditions set for the monitoring permissions.



To review what monitoring step permissions the hiring manager has, click the Onboarding WQ Monitoring Step Permissions tab.  Note:  the hiring manager may monitor every step.



To review the hiring manager’s permissions to review Documents, click the Document Permissions tab.  Note: the hiring manager may not review any documents.



Follow the above instruction to review all of the processes for your system.
