2081590 - Drag/drop workflow of disqualifying candidate with delayed email notification - Recruiting


  • Is it possible to have a delay on the disqualification of a candidate?


  • Recruiting Management.


  • Before the b1302 release the delay for the disqualification only applied to the auto-disqualification applications (if a candidate answered the wrong required questions on an application).
  • After the b1302 release the delay also apply to the manual disqualification. That means with a drag & drop or with a change of status in the drop down menu for a candidate, if the status is a disqualify status there is a delay on sending the email for this change of status.

  • It is possible to set the delay in hours, or completely disable the delay.

    Steps to follow to configure the delay time :

    1. Go to Admin Tools -> Manage Recruiting Settings.
    2. Check the checkbox "Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)" and set some delay time.
  • A recruiter immediately realizes that a candidate is qualified for the applied role. The recruiter can immediately change the status of the candidate to a disqualification one. However the email to communicate the disqualification is delayed so that it does not give the impression of a un-professional and “hasty work”
