  • How do I add attachments in recruiting?

  • Recruiting supports document attachments. This means that candidates can now upload their resume or other document in Word format, PDF format, or plain text format into SuccessFactors. Once the attachments are uploaded, recruiters can search and view these attachments (like resumes) in the system, too. Each document file size must be less than 5MB. If you're interested in allowing candidates to upload attachments, contact SuccessFactors Customer Success. (RCM-1933)
  • As of May 2011 you have the option to be able to open and read attachments, such as MS Word documents and PDF files, directly in the system without having to first open a 3rd-party reader tool. To use this option, go to Admin Tools > Manage Recruiting Settings, and select the Enable inline viewing of resumes checkbox. (RCM-5897)
  • As of May 2011 you have the option to attach more types of documents than resumes and cover letters, such as references, writing samples, or certificates. (RCM-8897)

          **Note: Media File types are not supported and this is not a configurable option.**



  • Note to SF Staff and Partners: To enable this feature, go to Provisioning > Company Settings and scroll down to the Recruiting section. Select the Enable Attachments checkbox. Click Save to save your change.
