- Employee Central
- Admin has mass imported Personal Information using Incremental import, but has forgotten to import a new Global Information record with the same Effective Start Date as the Personal Information record.
- The Global Information does not get removed from the system. Global Information data is associated with Personal Information effective dated records. When you add a new Personal Information record via the UI, the system will automatically bring over the Global Information associated with the previous Personal Information record, but, if you update Personal Information via Import, you will also need to import Global Information for that Personal Information record you just created via Import. The Global Information data is linked to the Personal Information record via the Effective Start date field.
- For example, if you import a Personal Information record with an Effective Start Date of 01/01/2013, you will also need to import a Global Information record for that user with an Effective Start Date of 01/01/2013. This is because the Global Information is effectively housed inside the Personal Information record.
- To make the task shorter, you can also use the &&NO_OVERWRITE&& command with the Global Information import template to copy data over from the previous record to the current record, so no export is needed, as long as you know the UserID (which you would use in the Personal info import) and also the 3 digit Country ISO code the users Global Info is associated with.
