2080044 - Adding and Changing IP addresses for Boomi & API - Employee Central

Symptom

  • How to Add or Change IP address restrictions in Admin Tools for processing Boomi files
  • Client needs to be able to add or change the IP addresses attached to the user name that is used to process their Boomi integration.

Environment

  • Employee Central

Resolution

  • You can add new IP addresses, or change existing ones in Admin Tools.
  1. Navigation: Admin Tools > System Properties > Password Policy Settings.
  1. Click on the Add or Edit icons to pull up the IP address box and key in the full IP addresses that are needed. Remember to select the correct username for this process (sfapi is a common username for Boomi processes). After clicking on Close, be sure to click on the Set Password Policy icon at the bottom of the Password Policy Settings page.
