Case 1 : You are unable to delete an assigned Service from project ,because the Delete button is grayed out.
Case 2 : You are unable to assign a service to the employee in project since the Service field is not enabled.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Project management work center.
- Choose the Projects view
- Choose Projects subview
- Choose the project XYZ, choose the button Edit and select the option Project Plan.
- Go to the Work tab, you can see that you are not able to either Delete or Assign a Service.
Once the value of actual time confirmations are updated from an employee against a service the system will not allow you to Delete a service or Assign a service to your employee.
You have to cancel the actual time confirmations. Once the confirmations are canceled then the Delete button will be enabled and Service field will be enabled.
