When you try to navigate to the newly created JAM group, the system throws a HTTP400 error.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales Workcenter.
- Navigate to Opportunities view.
- Open any opportunity.
- Go to Groups tab.
- Create a new group here.
You will see an error message displayed:
HTTP400 error: cannot create Jam group. Contact the SAP Jam administrator.
Please verify if the following points are fulfilled:
- Please check in Jam under Admin hyperlink for the Features options. Here please confirm if Enable Outbound private external Group creation is enabled.
- Make sure that the e-mail address of the user matches the e-mail address used in JAM. The address must be identical on both systems and unique for each employee/ user.
