  2. Select the Self-Services Overview view
  3. Select the Edit Time Sheet link

  5. System shows error

Cause

The error message is displayed because you have recorded more then 24 hours for the day in the Timesheet. It is possible that some time recorded on that particular day is Inactive.

Resolution

You need to ensure that the time recorded for the day does not exceed 24 hours. You may follow the below mentioned steps to remove the Times which are Inactive.

  1. Go to Time Administration workcenter
  2. Select Employees view
  3. Show All Employees and find the Employee XYZ (where XYZ represents the Employee ID)
  4. Select Edit
  5. Go to Employee Times tab
  6. Search for time entries
  7. Select the Inactive times and select the Remove button

Now you will be able to Release the Time Recordings for the Employee.

After following the above steps if you are still not able to assign the Time Model for the Employee, then end the Validity of the existing Time Profile to DD.MM.YYYY byfollowing the below steps:

  1. Go to Time Administration workcenter
  2. Go to Employees view
  3. Select Edit
  4. Go to Time Profile tab
  5. Select Add Row and maintain a new Start Date: DD1.MM1.YYYY1 and End Date: Unlimited
  6. Change the End Date of the existing Time Profile to DD.MM.YYYY
  7. Select Save

Now you will be able to assign the Time Model to the Employee for the Time Profile with Start Date: DD1.MM1.YYYY1 and End Date: Unlimited
