You are not able to create Employees since New button is disabled
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Administrator work center.
- Select General Settings view.
- Select Employees.
- New button is disabled
The cause for the issue is that your system is scoped in a way that employees are replicated from an external application. This can be verified as follows,
- Go to Business Configuration work center.
- Select Implementations Projects view.
- Select the First Implementation and select Edit Project Scope button
- Go to Review Questions.
- Expand Communication and Information Exchange
- Expand Integration with External Applications and Solutions
- Select Integration of Master Data
- Here the question Do you want to replicate employee data from external application or solution of your cloud solution? is checked.
Hence, Please create your internal employee in the external application or create an external employee (service agent/partner contact) in CLOUD FOR CUSTOMER .
