You are trying to add a new Time Account (e.g. Recurring or Permanent) to an employee in the Time Account Balances tab of the employee's time file, however, there's no Time Account Type available for selection.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Time Administration work center
- Go to Employees view.
- Select the respective employee
- Click Edit
- Go to Time Account Balances tab
- Click New button
- On Time Account Type field, click the down arrow to open drop down list
See the message: No items found.
You are trying to add a time account of Recurring or Permanent creation. Only Ad Hoc time accounts are eligible for selection using the New button on Time Account Balances tab because they are non-rule-based quota time accounts.
If your aim is to enter a time account of Recurring or Permanent creation you should do so under Time Profile tab -> Time Account Rules.
Now if you want to assign an Ad Hoc time account to the employee indeed, after flagging the time account type as an Ad Hoc Account in the respective Business Configuration activity Time Accounts — <Country>, you should also enter the time account under Time Profile tab -> Time Account Rules. After that the Ad Hoc time account will be eligible for selection on the Time Account Balances tab.
