You are migrating the Personnel Administration Data of Employees using the migration activity Migrate personnel administration data using the migration tool, but there is no column for IBAN. You also observed that the IBAN field is available in the migration Basic Employee Data template.
What is the reason for this difference?
There are two steps for migrating employee data :
1. Migrate Basic Employee Data
2. Migrate Personnel Admin Data
The first step (basic employee data) migrates employee specific data e.g
-Private contact data
The second step (personnel admin data) is for migrating additional information e.g. Organizational assignment of employees.
In Personnel Administration date migration , you can again give bank id but not all the fields as in the basic step. This is to further identify the main bank of employee out of the different banks already migrated in the first step. The main bank is used for renumeration purposes in further business processes.
If you only enter one bank account per employee (during basic data migration) , it will automatically be used as the default account for payments. In this case, you do not need to migrate information indicating the default bank account during migration of personnel
