You may have a requirement to delete unwanted employee records in the system because you might replicate them inadvertently. You want to know how to achieve this because you do not find any Delete/Remove button or link in the user interface.
It is not possible to delete already replicated employees no matter whether in the front end or back end, even the employees are not associated with any existing trip requests, itineraries or expense reports. What you can do is either terminating the employees by replicating the employees again or locking/deactivating the employees:
- Terminate the employees by replicating them again with the delta change: there should be Termination Date field in IDoc or XML template and you can set proper date in it during replication.
- Locking/deactivating the corresponding business users: go to the Application and User Management work center, the Business Users view. Select the employee, then the Lock User button. Or select the Edit | Attributes. In the popup, select Actions | Deactivate Password.
